The art of animation still keeps both children and adults amazed. Countryside Animafest Cyprus – Views of the World invites us to watch a collection of exceptionally inspiring short animation films from across the world under the stary sky in the enchanting rural setting of Salamiou.

For 20 years the festival has been expanding the perception of animation through the work of creators who dare to challenge, surprise and entertain us through their animation techniques, story-telling and content. The festival presents some of the most cutting-edge voices of the contemporary animation scene.

During the day, festival goers may attend exhibitions, workshops for adults and children or explore the mountainous countryside. In the evening everybody enjoys an abundance of animation films of various methods and techniques. Of course, music bands and DJs close the night in an uplifting way for all participants.
