Beginning of September: Pastelli festival in Anogyra. Anogyra village was once a main carob-grower and is famous for its traditional sweet ‘Pasteli’, which is made from carob syrup. The festivities include demonstration of “Pastelli” preparation. Guests can enjoy pasteli and special sweets cooked in carob syrup.
