Beginning of August: Platanistasa Hazelnut Festival. The festival is organized by various local councils at the village square. Kiosks are set up where you can taste and buy hazelnut products. Over the course of the festival, walks to the hazelnut forest and visits to the village’s churches and the Folk Art Museum are organized.
